Box dye’s are out to get us! They come in all forms, and make our job as a hairdresser harder, and will deceive you! It’s a bit of a gamble, and results can be hit or miss.

Boxes come in all different sizes.

1. Colour mask- a stain, this means the only way to remove this is bleach.

2. Hena/Blending - shampoo contains metallic salt which react with peroxide.

3. (My personal hate) - The Semi. Warning ⚠️  if you mix two bottles together this is a permanent colour as you are opening the cuticle and playing around with the hair interior.

What is the best weapon against these assassins? Honesty is the best policy! Tell us the truth and what you used. We can beat them, if you are unsure we can do a strand test, (a small sample of hair which we can test), this gives us a timeline of your hair, by doing this we can see the strength and how much your hair can potentially lift.

Once we know the above we can get you colour scheduled in, where we can decide the best preparation for colour ie pre bonding, this is a deep conditioning/protein treatment in the days - weeks leading up to your colour service, and on the day we will use the 3 step k18 treatment and we suggest you take this product, to use at home.
